Visit of Ambassador of Norway to Japan

On July 1, 2020, the Norwegian Ambassador to Japan, Her Excellency Ms. Inga M. W. Nyhamar, visited Governor Ogawa.
The governor expressed his gratitude for the exchange between the representative athletes of the Norwegian swimming and handball teams and the children of Fukuoka Prefecture during the Tokyo Olympic pre-camp held in the prefecture by the teams last year. The governor also gave the following greetings: “I believe that the accumulation of people-to-people exchanges and inter-regional exchanges will be the basis of trust and friendship between the two countries. We look forward to working with you to promote friendly exchanges between Fukuoka and Norway through sports.”
