Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the Delegation of the European Union to Japan Visits the Governor
On July 5, Mr. Haitze Siemers, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the Delegation of the European Union to Japan, visited Governor Hattori.
Given the growing importance of Japan-EU relations in the future, the Governor showcased Fukuoka Prefecture’s strengths that lie in hydrogen energy and biotechnology, saying, “Our prefecture, which has been striving to promote the One Health approach, wishes to join forces with the EU in addressing the worldwide suffering caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. We kindly ask for your good offices, Mr. Siemers, in this respect.”
