On April 28, the Consul-General of the Kingdom of Thailand in Fukuoka, Mr. Attakarn Wongchanamas, and the Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Fukuoka Office, Ms. Roongtip Wongpatikarn Kimura, visited Governor Hattori at the Fukuoka Prefectural Government.
Gov. Hattori expressed gratitude to them for their fervent efforts in promoting exchanges between the Kingdom of Thailand and Fukuoka Prefecture, and he brought up the fact that this year marks the 15th anniversary of the friendship agreement signed between Bangkok, Thailand, and Fukuoka Prefecture. He said: “Though we are currently still in the midst of the coronavirus crisis, we’d like to make all kinds of efforts to contribute to the further enhancement of friendly relations between Fukuoka Prefecture and Thailand.”
