“1-DAY Enjoyable Free Ticket to Commemorate the Opening of BRT Hikoboshi Line” is now on sale on the MaaS app “my route”!
In the prefecture, the public and private sectors, including transportation operators, the prefectural government, municipalities, tourism operators, and academic experts, are collaborating to promote initiatives related to transportation DX, including MaaS.*
As the first step in this initiative, we will begin a "MaaS demonstration experiment" in conjunction with the opening of the BRT Hikoboshi Line on August 28.
In this MaaS demonstration experiment, the smartphone app "my route" provided by Toyota Financial Services Co., Ltd. offers a discount digital train ticket that includes a set of "1-Day free ticket for all BRT lines" and "area-limited benefits." We will be selling “1-DAY Enjoyable Free Tickets to Commemorate the Opening of BRT Hikoboshi Line” in order to promote the use of the BRT Hikoboshi Line and to revitalize the area along the line.
■This demonstration experiment will be conducted by the "Hitahikosan Line BRT Area MaaS Study Council (Secretariat: Transportation Policy Division, Policy Planning and Regional Development Department, Fukuoka Prefecture)" consisting of Toho Village, Soeda Town, Kyushu Railway Company, JR Kyushu Bus Company, and Nishi-Nippon Railway Company.
*MaaS (Mobility as a service)
A service that uses smartphones and other devices to optimally combine multiple transportation methods such as buses, trains, taxis, and shared bicycles, and performs searches, reservations, and payments all at once. This time, it was carried out using the MaaS app "my route" service.

Children: 430 yen
*Unlimited rides for one day from BRT Soeda to Hita Station for a one-way fare (860 yen)

1 day (valid only on the day after start of use)

2. Details of efforts through MaaS demonstration experiment
(1) Sales of digital special tickets
The "1-day Enjoyable Free Ticket to Commemorate the Opening of BRT Hikoboshi Line," which can be purchased by prefectural residents and tourists anytime and anywhere via a smartphone app to enjoy a convenient tour of the areas along the line, will be sold to promote the use of BRT and revitalize the areas along the line.
(2) Multimodal route search
By combining a variety of public transportation in Toho Village, Soeda Town, and the surrounding areas, we propose the optimal travel route to your destination, making your journey more convenient and comfortable.
(3) Cooperation with feature articles and spot information
We will disseminate information on events, sightseeing, and attractions in Toho Village and Soeda Town, directly linking the attractions of the area with transportation, and stimulating demand for transportation among prefectural residents and tourists alike. We plan to update special articles and disseminate new information from time to time.
