“OHORI TERRACE—Yame Tea and Japanese Garden—” Opens in Prefectural Ohori Park !
On September 2, 2020, next to the Japanese garden on the south side of Ohori Park, a cafe with Japanese-style architecture and the theme of Yamecha (green tea produced in Yame), where you can relax while viewing the pond and greenery of Ohori Park, and a rental kimono shop newly opened.
The cafe offers a variety of menu items with the charms of Fukuoka Prefecture’s locally produced ingredients represented by Yamecha. On the second floor, there is a rental room with a kitchen and a terrace with a beautiful view of the park, which can also be used as a cafe space. At the rental kimono shop that opened on the same day, rental kimono are available without reservation. You can experience the charm of Japanese culture by taking a walk in the Japanese garden while wearing a kimono. Please visit these facilities as a new stop in Ohori Park.
