Malaysia's Prime Minister, Mr. Mahathir, visits Japan to provide future leader training lectures.

Mr. Mahathir, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, visited the prefecture to give a lecture at the "Japan Future Leaders School", in Munakata City. The "Japan Future Leaders School" is a summer school for high school students, who are passionate about working in the international space. Mr.Mahathir lectured to high school students from Japan, China, Malaysia, Mongolia, South Korea, and Thailand, about the importance of "fostering peace to create a life full of diversity" and that by "having peace as your primary mission as a leader, a rich, diverse lifestyle for others will blossom in your wake."
