Request to Prefectural Residents

slide2

We will not ask you to refrain from going out, but when you go out, please take basic infection prevention measures such as avoiding the three “Cs”, wearing a mask, and washing your hands, carefully check the infection status of your destination and the infection prevention measures of the facilities you use, choose a time and place that is not crowded, and act in a small group. If you have a fever, avoid going out.

slide3

When traveling across prefectural borders, please take basic measures to prevent infection, such as avoiding the three “C”s, and if you have not been vaccinated, please make every effort to have PCR test and other tests performed before traveling.

slide4

In the case of eating and drinking, please choose restaurants with thorough infection prevention measures, such as those with infection prevention certification, and strictly refrain from using restaurants that have not responded to requests to shorten their business hours.

Regardless of the number of people, if infection control measures are not sufficient, the risk of infection increases. Especially, when eating in large numbers, it is easy to become loud and droplets can easily fly, so please comply with the prefectural government's "Guidelines to Avoid Infection Risk while at Restaurants" and refrain from eating if infection control measures are not sufficient. (See Appendix 1, "Guidelines to Avoid Infection Risk while at Restaurants" [PDFファイル/165KB]

Please refrain from eating for longer than two hours, as it is easy to become loud.

slide5

Please wear a mask when singing in a karaoke box, and keep a distance of at least 2 meters from the person singing and at least 1 meter between seats. Please disinfect microphones and other equipment each time you change users.

Request to Restaurant and Bar Owners

slide6

The national government's basic response policy also specifies the business hours and other details of independent measures to be taken by local governments. Based on this policy, the request to restaurants and bars differs between those certified by the prefecture for infection prevention and those that are not certified.
The business hours for "stores without infection prevention certification" are from 5:00 to 20:00, with alcoholic beverages served from 11:00 and stop at 19:30.

Businesses may serve alcoholic beverages, but you must display the blue "Infection Prevention Declaration Sticker" issued by the prefectural government, meet all the items on the infection prevention self-checklist, and display it in a place in the store where people can see it.

The business hours for "Infection Prevention Certified Shops" are from 5:00 to 21:00, with alcoholic beverages served from 11:00 and stop at 20:30.

The gold "Infection Prevention Certification symbol" is to be displayed at the entrance of the store and other places outside the store where people can see it, and the certificate is to be displayed inside the store where people can see it.

Both certified and non-certified restaurants are requested to limit the number of people in a group to four or less at a table when serving alcoholic beverages.

We encourage all restaurants and bars to acquire the "Infection Prevention Certification Mark" to objectively show that they are working on infection prevention measures.

slide6

If business is mainly eating and drinking, such as snack bars and karaoke cafes, and provides karaoke equipment, please refrain from using such facilities. Karaoke boxes are exempted, but please take thorough measures to prevent infection, such as ensuring ventilation.

slide8

Restaurants that respond to the request will be provided with a cooperation fee. The amount of the cooperation money is 25,000 yen to 75,000 yen depending on the sales amount for both certified and non-certified restaurants. For those restaurants that have received the subsidy in the past, a portion of 175,000 yen (25,000 yen x 7 days) will be given in advance.

Request to Businesses

slide9

Please continue to promote work from home, and even if you do go to work, take measures to reduce contact with other people, such as staggered work hours. Pay attention to the switching of places such as break rooms, changing rooms, and smoking rooms, and take thorough measures to prevent infection. Encourage employees to practice thorough infection prevention measures, both inside and outside the workplace.

Closing

We would like to apologize for the inconvenience and hardships caused to the prefectural residents and businesses, but we would like to ask for your continued understanding and cooperation so that the infection can be prevented from spreading again and to lift this alert as soon as possible. The prefectural government will continue to maintain and strengthen medical institutions in preparation for the next spread of the infection, and has recently achieved the target of 1,480 hospital beds. We will continue to discuss with medical institutions to further increase the number of beds. As for the temporary accommodations, we are in negotiations with hotels to secure new facilities.

In addition to this, we will set up oxygen stations in the Kitakyushu and Chikugo regions outside the Fukuoka region, aiming to secure about 200 beds.

slide10

We will also further accelerate vaccination. Currently, promote vaccination among young people, we are raising awareness through commercials, SNS advertisements, and a special website, "WAKUNAVI Fukuoka.

As of today, the prefectural government has set up nine vaccination sites, where vaccinations can be administered without making an appointment, as long as there are vacancies.

The eligibility for vaccination has been expanded and the upper limit of under 40 years old has been removed, so anyone over 16 years old can be vaccinated.

For those who have not yet been vaccinated, there are prefectural vaccination centers available, so please consider getting vaccinated.

We are almost there. Please continue to cooperate with us to control the infection!
