Schedule of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torch Relay in Fukuoka Prefecture in 2021 Established!

 The Tokyo Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games has announced a new schedule of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Torch Relay planned for 2021. In Fukuoka Prefecture, the torch flame will be relayed on May 11 (Tue) and 12 (Wed), 2021.
 In the wake of the announcement, a real Olympic torch and other related items will be exhibited in the lobby on the first floor of the Fukuoka prefectural office building. Moreover, an Olympic Torch Relay day counter will also be displayed and switched on.

• Thursday, March 25, 2021: Grand Start (Fukushima Prefecture)
• Thursday, May 11 and Wednesday, May 12, 2021: Torch Relay in Fukuoka Prefecture
• Friday, July 23, 2021: Olympic Games Opening Ceremony (Tokyo)

• Area around Chikuzen-Iwaya Station in Toho Village, where recovery from serious damage caused by the torrential downpour in northern Kyushu in July 2017 is in progress
• Kyushu Geibun-kan in Chikugo City, which shares the charms of the local area, including art, culture, hands-on activities, and exchange programs
• Shimbaru-Nuyama Mounded Tomb Group in Fukutsu City, a component of the Sacred Island of Okinoshima and Associated Sites in the Munakata Region, inscribed as a cultural site in the World Heritage List
