Re-elected Governor Ogawa begins his second term.

Fukuoka Governor Ogawa received a warm welcome at the Prefectural capitol building as he arrived on the first day of his second term on April 16th. The re-elected Governor then proceeded with a speech voicing his high enthusiasm and hopes for shaping Fukuoka into an even more livable and satisfying place to live in all of Japan.

Clinics for Future Athletes of Fukuoka Prefecture opening ceremony

The opening ceremony for the Clinics for Future Athletes of Fukuoka Prefecture took place on April 11th. With 172 student athletes in attendance, the Clinics was launched to educate and potentially develop local world-class athletes. The on-going sessions will feature participants trying out for various sports while the most prominent pro athletes of Japan today provide them with essential knowledge, techniques, and mental toughness they need to make it to the world of professional sports.
